As an artist, designer, and mother, I have always been passionate about storytelling through design. With a BFA in Painting from the National College of Arts, my journey has taken me from being an Art Instructor at both school and college levels to working as a Product Designer. These experiences shaped my creative vision and deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless aesthetics.
In 2019, my family and I founded Hummingbirds with a simple yet heartfelt goal—to create high-quality, artistic children’s clothing that blends nostalgia with modern trends. Through the ups and downs of life...a time when the world closed down during the pandemic, what began as a small home-run venture, within a span of six years has now grown into a thriving business with a commanding online presence that reflects the beauty of Pakistani craftsmanship and culture. Our expansion into menswear and accessories is a step towards transforming Hummingbirds into a lifestyle brand that resonates both locally and internationally.
For me, creating beautiful clothes and crafting stunning visuals through our campaigns and collections is a tribute to my training as a painter, a tribute to my childhood and to my own children. It is my artistic vision and approach to the art of creating clothes, where colors, textures, and compositions come together to tell a story. Every piece we design is infused with creativity, emotion, and a deep commitment to excellence.
